Once again Trumpdisco have come up with something completely original. The bassline of this beast is like nothing I have ever heard and the best part of it is that is keeps changing throughout the song which is a direct representation of their ultimate production skills. They are playing at Bowler Bar this Friday and will definitely drop this track.

Joker & The Thief (The Boomzers Remix) - Wolfmother

I looked at this thinking what a fuck up this remix would be given the nature of the original but strangely enough the Boomzers have pulled off a monster remix here. Stomping bassline to a melody that is known worldwide.

I stumbled across this young french duo the other day and their remix of Nocolor's track 'Mowska' blew me away, it is probably one of my favorite tracks at the moment. Google translate tells me their name actually means Unknown Artists in english which is an odd name but their music is unreal so they must be doing something right.

Nightbreaker just released an ep under the Trashbag's 'Collective' which are all free releases. The title track 'Potemkin' is a masterpiece. Personally I am not a fan of all this chopped up electro that is being thrown around these days but this is a massive exception to that. The sounds used and resulting melody is truly something special.

Example's latest ep, 'Midnight Run' which was set to be released in December but has been leaked. The original track we have heard before on his album but the remixes we have not. Out of all the big names on remix duty my clear favourite was Wilkinson who turned the ok original into something special with a touch of Drum n Bass.

This is not as fresh as the others but amazing nonetheless. Tomba does well to use heavy sounds but still keep it pretty chilled.

Millennium - Just Rock
I don't know much about this artist other then his submission to Metalectro's second compilation series is a quality electro track with beautiful driving synths and a solid melody.

You Killing Me just released an ep. titled 'We Pray For You' which ties in with their religious theme very well. There are 2 originals plus Haezer and F.O.O.L. on remix duty. In my opinion, F.O.O.L's remix is infinitely better than then original but that's not to say the original isn't unreal. Be prepared for those token F.O.O.L melodies that have made them HUGE.

Mustard Pimp's debut Lp dropped a couple of days ago and I was so keen to see how it turned out. All in all it wasn't how I expected it to be but the tracks I did happen to like are much different from the Mustard Pimp I have been listening to for years. Finally some new Subscape has surfaced. This talented producer is making dubstep that is so soothing and nice it almost hard to label it dubstep. If you don't know of him then there is no doubt that you will in the future because he is going to be huge.

Oh Hello! The Carnivale has come to town

Oh Hello! the games will soon begin as Brisbane’s newest venue announces its Carnivale Weekend throwing its doors open to Brisbane punters from 10pm Thursday, August 11.

Thursday is Oh Hello!’s opening night, putting an end to the anticipation of a space the like of which Brisbane has never seen.

Friday and Saturday (August 12 and 13), the doors will open from 8pm with free entry until 10pm.

Friday headliners Van She Tech & Shazam will fill the floor with their signature take on indie dance, with a little bit of disco and a whole lot of party. While Saturday is the Opening Disco, which Steven Papas describes as ‘cool, current and fun in every way’.

Owners Steven Papas and Adrian Mezzina of The Arcade Creative said the warm, warehouse vibe that designer Alexa Nice has created is really going to make people feel welcome.

This is a very strange track, at first it seems to be dubstep then electro then dubstep. Either way there is driving synths and dubstep offbeat drums which always correlates to a mean track.

Exothermic Reaction - Skream

People complain about the repetitiveness of Skream's tracks but I think it is just they way he makes them, there is no denying they are very repetitive but I enjoy it. This is one of his latest releases and it is unreal.

A couple of nicer tracks today by some big names. Danger's latest track is just as good as you would expect it to be with a nice long melodic intro dropped into a token danger bassline. Toxic's track is very similar in structure which is strange. '6 to 10' was actually exclusively released on SeekSickSound earlier this month but I missed it as it was not officially released by the man himself.

Awonk is a young trio consisting of Clement Guillet, Likas Le Gal and Nicholas L and was formed in 2010 with Nicholas only joining in early 2011. Their debut ep. Finally Toxic's debut album has arrived and the wait was definitely worth it. The overall quality of this is album is of a pretty high standard and there is something for everyone. My favourite track is his collab with Bonjour Afrique titled 'Cold'. His has remixed Bonjour Afrique before and the resulting track, in my opinion, turned out to be one of his greatest productions to date.

A couple of days ago many of you who follow him on Facebook would know how Gtronic pulled a massive publicity stunt posting a status saying 'RIP Gtronic'. He then reemerged with a new logo and a fresh teaser (as seen below) of the new and improved Gtronic. I though it was a massive g-up but today he posted the link to his newest ep. titled 'Death Machine' and it is absolutely fucking huge. He has re-created himself to be somewhat darker and with his music matching his new image the future of Gtronic is looking bright.
